PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy (hereinafter — «MYFREEDOM RENT») regulates the procedure for collecting, using, storing and protecting the personal data of Users of the website https://myfreedom.rent/, administered by MYFREEDOM RENT LLC, registered at: city of Kyiv, Nekrasova Viktora St., building 12-A, apartment B171, EDRPOU code: 45903689. The Policy complies with the Law of Ukraine «On the Protection of Personal Data» (hereinafter — the «Law»).

GENERAL PROVISIONS

Personal data is information or a set of information about an individual who is identified or can be identified.

Data processing is carried out with the consent of the User, which is given by using the Site, unless otherwise provided by law.

CATEGORIES OF DATA

  • Identification data: surname, first name, patronymic, phone number, email;
  • Request data: the selected property, rental dates, booking comments;
  • Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, cookies, time and duration of the visit.

PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING

  • processing rental Requests and forwarding them to Landlords;
  • providing support via the call center;
  • analyzing the functioning of the Site and improving its operation;
  • ensuring compliance with the requirements of the legislation of Ukraine.

TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

Data may be transferred:

  • to Landlords for the fulfillment of Requests;
  • to state authorities on the basis of law (Article 16 of the Law).

PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

The Administration applies:

  • encryption of data transmission (SSL/TLS protocol);
  • restriction of access to databases (only authorized personnel);
  • regular software updates and security monitoring.

In the event of a data breach, the Administration notifies Users and the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights within 72 hours (Article 25 of the Law).

DATA RETENTION PERIODS

Personal data is stored for the period necessary to fulfill Requests, but no longer than 5 (five) years from the date of the User's last interaction with the Site, unless otherwise provided by law. After the period expires, the data is destroyed or depersonalized in accordance with Article 6 of the Law.

USER RIGHTS

The User has the rights provided for in Article 8 of the Law:

  • to know about the sources of collection, the place of storage and the purpose of processing of their data;
  • to demand access to the data, its correction or deletion;
  • to withdraw consent to processing, if this does not contradict the legitimate grounds for processing;
  • to appeal the actions of the Administration to the Commissioner for Human Rights or the court.

Requests are sent in writing to the address city of Kyiv, Nekrasova Viktora St., building 12-A, apartment B171 with a copy of an identity document attached. The review period is 30 calendar days.

USE OF COOKIES

The Site uses cookies to:

  • ensure the correct operation of functionality;
  • analyze attendance (using Google Analytics or similar);
  • save the User's settings.

The User can disable cookies in the browser settings, which may limit access to certain functions of the Site.

CHANGES TO THE POLICY

The Administration has the right to make changes to the Policy by posting an updated revision on the Site. Changes take effect from the moment of publication.
